Back after a long trip!
Have just returned from a trip of almost 5 weeks duration in Ontario, Canada, along the "Great Northern Route", the Trans-Canada Highway, also known as Highway 17. In this case the trip was from Sault (pronounced Soo) Sainte Marie on the Eastern end of Lake Superior (actually not quite correct because Soo is on the Saint Mary's River, by the rapids, and Lake Superior begins about 20 miles further West. The trip officially ended in Duluth, Minnesota after crossing the border back into the US at the Pigeon River border crossing in Minnesota. At some point in the future posts will have a lot of stuff about this trip, but there are other trips that will be posted first. The idea was a complete circle tour of Lake Superior but for health reason I had to cut it short a bit.
Lake Superior is massive and impressive and it grows on you.
